Wendy Sneed

Executive Advisor

As an expert in finance and accounting, Wendy Sneed leads SynFiny clients in FP&A transformation, process improvements, and reporting and risk management. Whether it’s supporting the migration of financial reporting to a regional service center, managing acquisition projects, or developing accelerated close recommendations, Wendy is driven to provide clients with improvements and successful results.

Wendy has 30 years of proven leadership in budget and forecasting, internal controls, project financial analysis, and accounting in a variety of environments. Recently, she led the training and deployment strategy for major financial systems, focusing on driving work process standardization in reporting, planning, and forecasting. In all of her roles, Wendy has worked with a diverse group of cross-functional business partners and gained a breadth of skills and experiences in leading teams through transitioning to and implementing new processes.

Wendy received her BS in Accounting from Wright State University.

Mark Sanman

Executive Advisor

As an accomplished IT governance, risk management, and outsourcing professional, Mark Sanman integrates global IT solutions with local business needs and regulations. By designing and managing integrated cyber security reviews, he helps companies find ways to reduce business risk, identify areas of potential concern, and provide quantifiable and sustainable solutions.

In Mark’s 34 years with Procter & Gamble, he built up extensive international experience in outsource deal negotiation and management, risk management, IT and financial controls, and information security management. He developed and implemented systems to minimize the client business risk posed by large IT outsourcing deals, a process that was reapplied to other major shared service providers. This experience allows him to understand and address risk from a business and technical point of view.

Mark is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Information Systems Security Management Professional. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Scott Liston

Executive Advisor

As an expert in connecting strategy to execution, Scott Liston guides SynFiny clients in developing dynamic financial models for the launch of new products, new divisions, and acquired companies. In collaboration with key business stakeholders, he helps to determine how key assumptions of growth options translate into financial outcomes for the enterprise.

Scott has held several finance leadership roles throughout his 22 years at P&G, specifically in sales and market development and new business and product development. One key role was as finance leader for FutureWorks, an innovative corporate incubator that evaluates new business ideas, builds the business plans, and performs financial forecasts for those that are viable. More recently, Scott led a small start-up as CFO and has consulted with small and midsize businesses. This experience allows Scott to support a variety of business in their growth strategic planning.

Scott has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University and a BS in Business Administration from Grace College.

Terry Thiele

Terry Thiele

Terry Thiele is an expert in strategic planning and issues advocacy, with a particular focus on environmental matters. He guides clients in improving their analysis of their current problems and setting strategies for future success, working to ensure that their companies’ finance activities are aligned and synchronized with their overall goals.

Terry has spent his career navigating complex issues to create successful strategies. With over 38 years of combined experience, his roles have spanned across industries and sectors, including the Lubrizol Corporation, GE, AB Electrolux, the U.S. Treasury Department, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Executive Office of the President. He has led teams in strategic planning focused on a variety of topics, including scaling up involvement in issue based assessments, building relationships between corporate and government, and environmental coordination and advocacy.

Terry is a graduate of the National War College and received his JD degree from the New York University School of Law and his BA from Princeton University.
