With over 30 years of experience in strategic business consulting, process optimization, and project management, Susan removes process conflicts and drives improvement. In doing so, she has helped a variety of companies implement change and deliver results, whether it be increasing on-time delivery, cutting costs, accelerating quality in production, or gaining market share. Susan is known for her follow through and completing her work with a focus on tangible results.

Susan earned both her MA in Management and Planning and her BS in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. She has also earned certificates in Thinking Processes Basics, Critical Chain Project Management Basics, and Project Management Professional.

Terry Brett

Executive Advisor

Having spent over 30 years working in and supporting Supply Chain Finance, Terry Brett is an expert in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, system implementation and support. As a highly skilled professional in analysis, teamwork, and training, she leverages strategic problem solving to deliver business results and eliminate losses.

Throughout her career, Terry has honed her skills in finance operations and accounting processes and systems. She quickly moved into leadership positions, managing supply chain organization budgets performing end-to-end supply chain planning. She led loss analysis and value stream mapping sessions to identify and drive out operational costs. In all these roles, she was committed to team building and development with the goal of collaborating across all supply chain functions to ensure integration of systems and processes.

Terry was inducted as an F&A Master in Accounting and Information Systems. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.

Althea Gill

Executive Advisor

As a Program Management professional, Althea Gill guides SynFiny clients in strategic business alignment and business process optimization. Through this process, she leads companies in setting the objectives, determining the resource requirements and budgets, and establishing the business case. Her expertise is in building and managing a project portfolio that is aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Given her experience in functional leadership roles in IT and engineering, Althea engages in complex situations and creates clear, logical, data-based solutions. Previously, she established and led Program Management Offices in both R&D and IT, focusing on data management, including data standardization (master data) and establishing data governance structure and protocols. Throughout this work, Althea has been recognized for developing relationships and partnering with professionals throughout the organization to ensure cross-functional support and ownership of program success.

Althea, a Certified Professional in Business Process Management (CPBPM), received her Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
